Nikon D3x Bread Sticks | Zander & Nick Love everyone and they will love you back. What goes around, comes around. A Pug and any boy always have a special bond. Pugs, like most dogs, instinctively know little girls and little boys are special. Pugs seem to love them just a bit more when they are around them. For more Pug wisdom, see Pug Wisdom | a 7 Image Story.

Nikon 1 V3 Hodgepodge | Remember Remember Coop by his high school graduation picture. In just a few short years, PFC Howard E. Cooper would become an American hero. For his actions while liberating the Philippines in WWII, he received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Distinguished Service Cross, the 2nd highest U.S. medal for heroism. He was a good soldier and a good man as well as a good husband, father, and grandfather. For the whole story with more images, see PFC Cooper’s DSC | a 7 Image Story.

Nikon 1 V1 Potpourri | Montana Hank A friend at the Gallatin River Ranch asked us to their house for dinner one night. Before dinner we took a few pictures from their deck. This image of yours truly, the ranch, and the Bridger Mountains is a decent example of a landscape portrait. The whole idea is to get a good portrait and a good landscape image in the same photograph.
The Back Story To keep as much of the foreground and background in focus, I chose auto iso, aperture priority, and f/8, then handed the camera to our host to make the click. From a compositional standpoint, I just told the host to keep me off center. Note: I post an image everyday at hankconrad.com.

Fine Art Portfolio | Paul This image was captured at the rehearsal dinner the night before he was married. Normally, I like images of people in color. This black and white image appears to show a rather introspective moment.
