Fireworks over the Lake | Nice After several exposure tries, it became clear that the 6 second exposure had should be started just before the first burst to get several bursts in the exposure. Fireworks over the Lake | Wow In the past, capturing fireworks images has not been of high interest for me. This year I did a bit of research and tried to capture a few decent images. Fireworks over the Lake | a 7 Image Story 4th of July fireworks always makes for a great time unless, of course, it rains. A couple of hours before fireworks time the skies looked foreboding. After a thunderstorm and rain showers, the rain stopped long enough for the show. Although wet under foot, the fireworks were magnificent as always.
In the past, capturing fireworks images has not been of high interest for me. This year I did a bit of research and tried to capture a few decent images. Notice the fireworks images are 4 second and 6 second exposures. The long exposure gives enough time to capture several bursts in one image. Sometimes, the fragments of an old burst remain as well.
