Walkabout Snow
Walkabout Snow Sometimes, a walkabout trail looks better covered with a few inches of fresh snow. It may not last long so we’ll enjoy it while it lasts. Some folks have asked how to meter a scene like this with so much white snow. Actually, it’s pretty easy; just point the cameras meter at the tree trunks and the camera will likely do the rest. And, of course, I usually set the exposure compensation to minus .03.
