Occasionally, it’s nice to take just one lens on a walkabout just to see what you can do with it. Evening Reflections seem to come easier on a late walkabout. Sometimes, you get lucky; sometimes you don’t.

Spring abounds as the this Muskrat swims about his pond. Muskrats normally live in groups of a male, a female pair, and their young. During spring, they sometimes fight with other muskrats over territory and potential mates; where many are injured or killed. Muskrats build nests to protect themselves and their young from cold and predators. In streams, ponds or lakes, muskrats burrow into the bank with an underwater entrance. In marshes, push-ups are constructed from vegetation and mud.

Mom with Antique Doll Mom loved dolls, particularly antique dolls. This image was captured during the Christmas season of 1976. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved to decorate and make treats for her family and friends. She always made sure everyone around her had a good Christmas. For you photogs, this image was very likely taken with a Minolta SRT 102 and a 50mm lens using Kodachrome slide film; then, scanned with a Nikon CoolScan V ED. She always seemed to like the fact that I could take a decent picture.
