Muskrat Tonight’s walkabout started late, ended late. Just before calling it quits due to darkness, I noticed a muskrat silently swimming across the lake. I positioned myself where he would land and waited. Luckily, he came close to shore where I was standing. The V3 had the 50mm lens; equivalent to 135mm, but that’s not really much telephoto reach for a small critter like a muskrat. If he had not come right up to me, his image would have been too small in the frame.
