Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | Firehole Falls

Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | Firehole Falls   Firehole Falls are located about half a mile upstream from the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers at Madison Junction.  With only a 40 foot drop, Firehole Falls aren’t very tall; just majestic.  For the whole story with all images, see Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | a 7 Image Story.

Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | Yellowstone Falls

Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | Yellowstone Falls   A trip to Yellowstone NP is not complete without seeing Yellowstone Falls.  Actually Yellowstone Falls consists of two waterfalls on the Yellowstone River.  The Upper Yellowstone Falls are 109 feet high.  The 308 feet high Lower Yellowstone Falls is the largest volume waterfall in the Rocky Mountains.  This image from one of my first trips to Yellowstone isn’t too bad considering the weather conditions.  For the whole story with all images, see Minolta XTsi to Yellowstone | a 7 Image Story.
