Breitling Jet Team

Breitling Jet Team

The Breitling Jet Team is the largest professional, civilian team performing aerobatics in jets.  Aerobatics, one of the world’s most demanding disciplines,  combines a concentrated blend of technique, mastery and style requiring unparalleled precision, speed, and audacity.  The team flies seven L-39C Albatros aircraft, Czech-made twin-seater military training jets.  These planes represent a compromise between performance, aesthetics, reliability and operating costs.

Wow, the Breitling Jet Team, the largest professional civilian team performing in jets today, were preparing to leave KARR today as we taxied for takeoff.  These powerful L-39C Albatros aircraft piloted by flying aces make each appearance of the Breitling Jet Team breathtaking; a meticulously coordinated ballet where the planes sometimes fly within 3 meters of each other at speeds over 400 knots!  Unfortunately, we could not hang around to see them takeoff; maybe, another time.
