Black Squirrel Black Squirrels are not as common as Gray Squirrels around the Midwest. This guy was busy, busy getting ready for the winter ahead. Although Black Squirrels are fairly common in parts of the Midwest, I have only seen them in Michigan. This guy keeps himself busy everyday getting ready for winter when 120 inches of snow will fall in this area.
