Newly Restored B-25 MB II
Newly Restored B-25 MB II On Memorial Day, we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They fought and died to keep us safe and free. Although we can not ever thank them enough, we can remember them. This new restored B-25 helps us remember them and all flight crews who served. The Commemorative Air Force’s SoCal Wing worked for roughly two decades to restore this North American PBJ-1 Mitchell, the Navy’s version of the B-25 medium bomber. Over seven hundred PBJs, flown by the Marine Corp., served in the South Pacific during WWII.
