B-25 Ground Crews What keeps B-25s flying? Well, of course, funding and pilots are very important. Still, without the crew chiefs, A&P mechanics, and ground support crews, those beautiful birds would stay on the ground. Maintaining these big birds even after they have been restored takes time and talent. This image was captured at the 70th Reunion of the Doolittle Raiders in 2012. The 75th reunion is just around the corner. 17 B-25s are scheduled to participate.
