Super Moon

Super Moon

Tonight’s moon is almost a Super Moon.  Monday night’s moon will be the biggest and brightest since full moon in 1948.  The Full Beaver Moon of November is called the supermoon because the full phase takes place at the moon’s closest point in its orbit around the Earth; called the perigee. The moon will appear about 15 percent larger; but won’t look this large again until 2034.
