Another Iris
Yes, Another Iris! They are so beautiful along my walkabout. Still, they will not last long so we must enjoy them now.

What is a Leonberger? It’s a dog breed; a very large, giant breed! The breed’s name comes from the city of Leonberg in Germany. The Leonberger is a large, muscular, and gentle dog with a full double coat. It measures 26 to 32 inches high and 100 to 170 pounds. The female in this image was watching the soccer game yesterday with her master. She seemed like a very gentle dog indeed. She allowed everyone around to pet her and even hug her. What a nice dog!
Kick it Eli Today’s game was the last of the season for Eli’s team. What a beautiful day to play soccer.
Wild Rabbit are becoming more commonplace again on my walkabouts. The decline in coyotes has had a corresponding increase in their prey; in this case: rabbits.
The American Airlines DC-3, like all American Airliners were flagships. They heralded their arrival at an airport by the copilot inserting a flagstaff bearing an American Airlines flag into a socket just outside the window immediately after landing. The arrival or departure of an American Airliner was never a humdrum event—it took place with flag flying.
This American Alligator resides in the Everglades near Everglades NP. The image was captured from the bottom of an air boat. Clearly, this environment is an alligator’s playground. This guy is one of the largest gators in the area.
Light Reveals; Dark Conceals It’s an old photographer adage! Some images remind us more than others.
