Jake & Elwood
Jake & Elwood are at it again; becoming sled dogs for a day. They only get a chance to pull a sled once a year, but you’d think they had been trained pulling a sled every day. As the dogs are being hooked up and the musher is preparing the sled to go, the dogs are all barking and playing around like it was a big holiday. Then, all of the sudden as the musher calls out to the lead dog and the dogs all start to pull, they go quiet. It’s like flipping a switch; pretty cool. Then, they’re happy. Huskies love to run; particularly in the snow. Although they don’t get to be sled dogs often, Jake and Elwood run several miles almost every day. It’s the highlight of their day.
