Several of my associates and some family have begun to refer to me as Montana Hank. Hopefully, the people of the great state of Montana will not be too offended. They seem to want a portrait of me in my Montana garb. So, this image shows me acting like I’m from Big Sky Country. Perhaps, it should be labeled farmer goes to the ranch, Montana style. My brother did the honors.

Although Hayden Valley is well known in Yellowstone for wildlife viewing and photographing, with the right weather, it can provide stunning landscape images. Hayden Valley is a large, sub-alpine valley in Yellowstone NP straddling the Yellowstone River between Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone Lake. The valley floor along the river is an ancient lake bed from a time when Yellowstone Lake was much larger.
