Montana Trains You can’t travel much through Montana without noticing the trains. Montana is a long state and trains linking the east, midwest, and west travel through the mountain valleys carrying numerous products from coal to aircraft fuselages. Yes, that’s a 737 fuselage on the car right behind the engine.

Monarch Butterfly Yes, it’s that time of year. The Monarch Butterflies are out. Yet, it’s so hard to capture a really good image of them, at least, for me.

Ranch Walkabout Back on the ranch for a while before dinner; a walkabout seemed like a good idea. A short walk up to Castle Rock always yields a few good images.

Well, Gluten Free Prairie was out celebrating their Grand Re-opening at the Potato Festival in Manhattan, MT yesterday. Downtown Manhattan suffered a flood this spring just after their Grand Opening. It’s been a long recovery, but they’re open again for business. Actually, they ship their products nationwide and continued to ship to their customers ever since the flood. Still, it’s great to see their store front open again in thriving Manhattan. Pictured here is Deb, Gluten Free Prairie’s President getting interviewed and videotaped by a reporter covering the Potato Festival. An hour after this image was captured, throngs of people were sitting and standing along Main Street waiting for the parade.
