Future Olympic Champion
Future Olympic Champion Capturing indoor water shots seem to be much harder than they look. The reflections can cause havoc. Still, this swimmer is focused.

Yes, Another Iris for todays image. Well, they only bloom for awhile so you have to capture them when they are the nicest.
Bearded Iris At first, I thought the Iris was growing wild in the grasslands along my walkabout. But, no, a nice nearby resident planted them several years ago. They make the walk just a little bit nicer. Took the heavy iron today. Clearly, I’m not a flower photographer. Still, not a bad image.
Badlands Spring Spring in Badlands NP feels like another planet for a Midwesterner. Between the mid May and mid June the normally brown and tan landscape of the Badlands turns green. My favorite time for Badlands Spring remains the 2nd week of June. Also, it’s a great time see wildlife babies.
January at the Coshise Stronghold, southwest of Tucson, provides a beautiful mix of rock and green. This image was captured just off a remote back road.
Yellowstone NP has so much for a photographer like Still Water. I have captured images at this river for several years. For some reason, I have only had bald skies. Still, when you are visiting the park on a periodic basis, you get the weather you get. Notice the emphasis on the river’s clear water; not the skies.
Road to Oxbow Bend Some claim that Oxbow Bend is the most photographed location in North America. It certainly seems to retain its beauty no matter what time of year. On this morning, after capturing images from daybreak, this image just appeared. Actually, I captured numerous bracketed images in anticipation of a possible HDR, but they were not necessary.
Yellowstone Early Snow Yellowstone’s first snow last year made for a great day to capture images along the Yellowstone River. Actually, we only had a few minutes to capture this image between snow showers. The remainder of the day was similar; get some light, capture images, let it snow.
