Red-tailed Hawk Although the snow has melted, it’s still February 1st and a bit chilly this morning. The dogs go out the door in a rush as always barking just to see if anyone barks back. Out of the corner of my eye, birched on a nearby tree, there he is; a Red-tailed Hawk. Run back up stairs, quick change the lens, and back to capture an image of this majestic bird; quick work for the 70-200mm. Then, in a flash, he was gone to go hunting. Glad I am not a field mouse.
